A big thank you to everyone who helped with the childcare for the Fireproof movie Friday evening. We had well over 100 children and about half of them were visitors. It was a huge success, but a lot of work for all of our volunteers. Thank you again for giving up your Friday evening to help with these children -Brenda
Lone Star
Bible Teacher’s Workshop
The second annual Lone Star Bible Teachers’ Workshop is Saturday, February 7th. Brochures are in the foyer. The church will pay your registration fee which includes lunch so please turn in a registration form to the church office, Brenda Ford, or me by February 1st. I hope many of our members will attend this event!

Bible Class Teacher’s Meeting
We will have a meeting for our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening children’s Bible Class teachers on Sunday, Feb. 22nd at 4:00 in Building C. This involves teachers of two year olds through 6th graders. Please make plans to attend. If you will need child care during the meeting, please contact Brenda Ford or the church office.

Family Devotional Guides
Don’t forget to pick up your family devotional guide each week from your Bible class or get a copy at the information desk. You can use this as a guide as you spend time this week reading God’s Word with your children and family. The verse for this week is: “I have hidden your word in my heart, so that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11.

Toby & Brenda Ford, Kevin Lombard, and Marilyn and I attended the annual Christian Education Conference last week. It was a great time or learning and fellowship. We came home renewed and with many new resources for our congregation. –Don
